I stumbled over two sound bites, which added to my guiding principals, not only for last year but also for 2022:

My arbitrary target set at the beginning of the adventure was to bike as many kilometres as we sail nautical miles. Some catch up happened on Lanzarote and the total kilometres 🚴♂️ ends only up to 1800 km – 700km short.😟
Nevertheless my target will remain unchanged for next year although I would like not only to sail more miles but also to clock more km on the bike.
An uninvited visitor was detected today in the cockpit. After quick isolation we figured out, that it is a nasty cockroach.
It came as a surprise to us as we are pretty careful to ensure, that these little bastards are not getting into the boat, which can end up in a nightmare. Another level of precaution will now be applied.
