SY Hullu Poro

Boating & Biking Adventures

⚓️…Enseada da Barra…👍

This sandy beach is just opposite Vigo and very populated by boats and people enjoying the summer. I have anchored next to SY Maupiti and SY Dawn, who I met before, both members of Trans-Ocean e.V.!

Left Combarro in the wake…

Can‘t get to bed…

There is still very pleasant live music coming over from the marina’s summer festival and with no wind the acoustic is surprisingly good.
Here is an extract…😂
Later the night/morning we got enwrapped in some light fog…👌

Traditional ship’s regatta…

Several traditional yachts are getting ready for the start just next to our anchorage…

Combarro @ night…

It was a very peaceful night at almost full moon. Some Spanish life music coming from the village until midnight followed by an 8 hour deep doze. 😴

🙋‍♂️Combarro @ ⚓️

I have decided to leave the marina and drop the ⚓️ just outside of it. This will be the start of a 7 night anchoring schedule leading to Monte Real Club de Yates in Baiona, my last stop in Galicia ☹️. Before heading to Portugal, there is some more hiking and biking planned in lovely Galicia. Fair winds…

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to understand it’s really happening…
