The Grillhytta @ Stor-Kongsvatnet was long on my list for a visit and today it worked out very well during our focused snowshoe hike while preferencing lake crossing time over scenic hill views. The fire was already on upon our arrival.
My initial expectations for this hike were moderate as the actual overcasted skies were not in line with what the weather forecast promised. Fascination took completely over when some fog slowly came in. A hike under pure blue skies becomes almost boring.
The winter continues at its best.
