Second time I was invited to join a get-together on SY Hexe – Cornelia and Volker‘s way to start the weekend. Their hospitality and support is so generous, leaving memorable evenings with good discussions, exchange, laughter and new friendships before falling asleep. Thank you!
Today I was up for a sniff ride to Arrecife, the main city on Lanzarote. Obviously its marina was on my route and by chance I saw SY Rare Breed with Biggi and Jan leaving the port. I was aware that their boat was moored in Arrecife for some weeks but not aware they are back from mainland Europe. We have met first time in Brunsbüttel and then again in Aber Wrac’h. As they are now heading West, it was a farewell over the phone but I could catch them on a photo at harbour exit. Wishing them fair winds and following seas…
My first bike trip on Lanzarote took me to Marina Rubicon to give a farewell to the crew of SY Maupiti. Tina, Mia, Tim and skipper Tobias are throwing the lines tomorrow heading to Cape Verde and later to the Caribbean, where they will complete their amazing family adventure. Join me wishing them fair winds and following seas at any time of their journey. We have met first time in Cherbourgh and since then here and there, last time in Funchal. Follow their story under this link, if you like. Fair winds…
